Hanna Webster is an award-winning health journalist, essayist, and poet. She holds an M.A. in science writing from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in neuroscience and creative writing from Western Washington University. In her first year as a reporter for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, she won a first-place award with the Society for Features Journalism, a second-place award for health reporting at the Keystone Media Awards, and she was nominated for two 2023 Golden Quill Awards for science and medical journalism.
Webster's poetry has appeared in HAD, Bellingham Review, Fifth Wheel Press, BRUISER Mag, and elsewhere. Her chapbook, "I'm So Glad I Stuck Around for This," was longlisted for the 2023 Palette Poetry Chapbook Prize. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
